Leaving for Ghana Tomorrow; Podcast/Vlogging Workshop in Accra
Tomorrow afternoon I'm off to the airport yet again, this time for a nine-day trip to Ghana. I'll be spending much of my time profiling the BusyInternet cybercafe in Accra and the Asante Akim Multipurpose Telecentre in Patriensa for the book I'm editing for IDRC. Hopefully I'll be able to post photos, videos and podcasts during my stay, so please visit my blog or take advantage of my handy-dandy RSS feed. (Read this if that's meaningless to you.)
While in Accra, I plan to meet with a variety of local technology activists, many of whom are members of the Digital Divide Network. I'm also going to be giving a podcasting and videoblogging workshop; it's currently scheduled for Thursday, July 21 at 14:00 GMT at African Security Dialogue and Research. Their office is located on Kofi Annan Avenue, just off Atomic Agency Road, North Legon. If you're in Accra and would like to attend, please RSVP to Amos Anyimadu at accraboy @ fastmail.fm, in case the time or location changes. I hope to see some of you there! -andy
